Les Gets Golf Course

Opened in 1995 in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, in wooded surroundings, the les Gets Golf course has a hole named after the nearby peaks. The 7th hole is named Mont Blanc.

This fairly technical golf course derives its originality. You may have skied over some of the fairways in the winter months. Its variety along with the superb way in which it is looked after can’t fail to seduce you with panoramic views along with the agreeable fresh air of Alpine summers make a tempting invitation to discover this exceptional setting.

In order to make the course more accessible, Les Gets owns a collection of quality electric buggies

Via Ferratta

This is one of the most popular activities in the Alps. Not for the faint hearted but not impossible for an inexperienced climber.

“Via ferrata” come from Italian, meaning ‘iron way’.  Via ferrata involves scrambling or climbing routes over cliffs and sometimes over the whole mountains. The routes are marked and have steel rods and rails, steps and heavy-gauge wire cables fastened to the rock to assist and secure you.

This allow the adventurous walker to enter the world of the alpine climber, by clipping themselves safely onto the fixed via ferrata cable using harnesses, and specialised via ferrata equipment.
