Eat & Drink at Hotel Christiania Restaurant
The Hotel Christiania has always placed a great emphasis on the dining and wining aspect of the guests’ stay and for the new winter season the staff are again looking to take the standards to a new level by delivering time and time again menus of exceptional quality.
Guests at The Hotel Christiania will be looked after from breakfast through to dinner with fresh food and discrete quality service.
Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 09:30 and sets the skier up for the day ahead. Overlooking the slopes yuo can enjoy a Buffet Style brekfast with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and juices, yoghurts, tea and coffee, local fresh bread, croissants and pains au chocolate, plus a few hot options which are changed daily.
When the weather is poor the restaurant may open between 1200 and 1400 hours to offer light snacks and a table d’ote lunch menu with specials of the day. Please ask at receiption if this service is available when your are at the hotel.
Afternoon tea has been a firm favourite of chalet users for years and is just as popular with Hotel Christiania guests! It is served between 16:00 and 17:00 with a selection of freshly baked cakes served in front of the log fire with tea and coffee.
Children’s High Tea
The Christiania lives up to its family friendly credentials in a number of ways and one of those is the offering of Children’s High Tea served between 17:30-18:30. The hotel serves only high quality child friendly meals – for example how about some fresh Lasagne served with salad and homemade potato wedges or Tuna pasta bake topped with toased cheesy breadcrumbs.
The highpoint of the Christiania day is dinner which is served between 19:30 and 21:30 with a delicious four course evening meal including regional cheese board.
All of the food served at The Christiania is of the highest quality and guests are very often surprised at the cuisine on offer.

As you’d expect from a French hotel wine plays an important part in the food experience. The vast majority of wines are sourced directly from small French vineyards and all have been personally selected by the owner. Each season you will see a change and the hotel will add some new wines always keeping our choice fresh and interesting.
The hotel has a very close association with a vineyard in Southern Burgundy producing some excellent Pouilly Fuisse and Macon Villages and wine tastings are offered on a regular basis.
