The Hotel Christiania prides itself on delivering quality dining throughout the season. With dynamic menus featuring the best local produce prepared by our head chef and served professionally by the restaurant team, Christiania deservedly has a superb reputation for its food service. For the new winter season, the staff are again looking to take the standards to a new level by delivering, menus and service of exceptional quality.
Guests at The Hotel Christiania will be looked after from breakfast through to dinner with fresh, locally sourced food and quality service.
The restaurant and the adjoining Fireside Lounge, are the social hub of the hotel informal atmosphere. It blends with the best of classical restaurant service and its warm furnishings and decor create a relaxing ambience in which guests can wind down and take their time over the fine cuisine and specially selected wines.
Choose between the popular dining room, overlooking the main street of Les Gets or sit in our alternative dining room, the Bistro in the back mini fireside lounge. The Bistro is located slopeside, perfect for a private dining experience, especially for larger groups, and offers the same delicious menu as the main restaurant.
Table reservations are taken for each night and can be made at the bar or reception.
Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 09:30 and sets you up for the day ahead. Overlooking the slopes you can enjoy a Buffet-Style breakfast with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and juices, yoghurts, tea and coffee, local fresh bread, croissants and pains au chocolate, plus a few hot options which are changed daily.
Complimentary afternoon tea is a firm favourite with Hotel Christiania guests and is served between 16:00 and 17:00. Guests will be offered a selection of freshly baked cakes, tea and coffee to enjoy in front of the log fire.
Children’s High Tea
The Christiania lives up to its family-friendly credentials in a number of ways and one of those is the offering of Children’s High Tea served between 17:30-18:30. The hotel serves a variety of healthy and nutritious child-friendly meals, and the kitchen is fully capable of adapting these for any food allergy or intolerances.
The highpoint of the Christiania day is dinner which is served between 18:30 and 21:30 with a delicious four-course evening meal including regional cheese board.
The management and kitchen team plan the season's menus well in advance selecting the best local produce, creating a varied selection throughout the week to ensure guests enjoy the variety the kitchen can offer, including vegan and vegetarian dishes every evening. Dietary and intolerance requirements can also be catered to.
